Trade Smarter, Not Harder
TSST BLOG · MATCH PLANS
A selection should make the next decision clearer. It should not pressure you into an entry.
At TSST, a Match Plan is a decision guide for one fixture. The research explains why a market is worth considering, but the plan also shows how to check whether a trade is still suitable when you see the live exchange. A promising game can still end with a pass.
A useful plan names the market plainly—perhaps a home win, draw, BTTS or a goals route—and distinguishes pre-match decisions from those that can only be made during play. “This fixture looks good” is too vague. Members should know exactly what to watch.
A Strong or Moderate label describes the support behind the selection. It is not a prediction that must come true, a substitute for the exchange price or permission to increase the stake. The label helps members understand how confidently the fixture passed the research review; the live market still has the final say.
If more than one market is shown for the same fixture, those markets are alternatives—not separate allocations to stack. The plan should tell you when each route can be considered and the maximum exposure across the fixture. Choosing no route is also a valid choice.
Exchange prices can move after a plan is prepared. Refresh the back and lay prices, check the money actually available, and look again at team news and match conditions. In play, the score and red cards matter too. An earlier price snapshot is context, not a live feed.
The best Match Plan removes ambiguity. It identifies what to watch, limits the risk and makes it easier to say “not today” when the real market does not support an entry. That is part of trading smarter, not harder.
